The most laughable thing I’ve seen has to be the gambling tables that turned up in an episode of the BBC’s version of ‘Robin Hood’. Lovely casino-style green *flocked* tables, just a tad ahead of their time!

Anachronisms? Where to start? My favorites are nitpicky ones like where Forrest Gump gets a letter from Apple Computer when the computer wasn’t publicly sold until 1980. I feel clever when I spot them.
The most memorable one would have to be in Red Dwarf, where they’re all using VHS and cassettes in the 23rd Century.

Let’s see, on TVs “Game of Thrones” There is the infamous scene where Queen Selyse has her still born children in a jar of formaldehyde, a chemical which was not formatted until the 1800s, well after the medieval world in with GOT takes place.

In the movie, “Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter” Abraham meets and falls in love with Mary Todd who is his first love. But that isn’t accurate before Mary Todd Abraham Lincoln was in love with Ann Rutledge.

Oops I didn’t answer you question, my favorite anachronism would be in The Fellowship of the Ring during Bilbo’s birthday party where one of Gandalf’s fireworks (dragon?) is described being like a express train. Boy that would have made that trip to Mordor a little quicker lol
