Oooh, a proper, big fantasy book! I’m sold. This is getting a new home at my place one way or another, hehe. Been itching to read good fantasy gbook again, the last one I read was kind of meh.

I would like to say something nice about my wife. This year has been hard as I have been made redundant twice and through all this she has remained positive and kept me going. Our two-year-old has the best mum in the world.

ill say something nice about alder hay hospital looking after my little brother but got good news today knowing hes going to oklahoma for proton treatment which has made me happy toay, but this book looks like it will fill my craving

And if I’m to say something nice about someone, it’ll be about my wife, whom I love and who understands that I need some time on my own to read and to build spaceships (with Lego).

I accept your challenge. I’m in. It looks right up my alley. Not just being it’s big, i’m not so vapid as to hope to rope myself into the sort of commitment that a good book can be, on looks alone. No, no i leave that sort of fiery instantaneous passion for the enigmatic and inspiring brain of my girlfriend. (nobody tell her i said that… not that you could anyway)

Oooh, 940 pages. With axes. Sounds like something I’ll need to buy.

Christmas greetings from Scandinavia (where the Trope says axes, yes, but as you all know, no helmets with horns).

If I’m to say anything nice it’ll have to be about my patients. Being a young doctor I’d like to thank them all for putting up with me sometimes having to double-check things, and for how the ups and downs they’ve shared with me these past two years have taught me more about people than a previous lifetime has done. I learn something every day. Does that sound selfish? It’s not meant to be. I’ll be a better doctor for it.
